The Department of Computer Applications offers a comprehensive four-year Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program spanning eight semesters. Having offered this course for the past 17 years, the department boasts a strong alumni network, with graduates currently working at prestigious organizations across the IT industry.

The 4-year BCA (Honours) program is designed to build a solid foundation in computer applications, software development, and modern IT practices. It equips students with essential technical skills, including programming, database management, web technologies, and system analysis. The extended honors track offers deeper specialization, advanced project work, and industry-oriented research, preparing graduates for dynamic careers as software engineers, IT consultants, and tech analysts, or for pursuing higher education like MCA.

It gives the candidate knowledge on the business sector and on how one navigates through it. It equips them with real-time knowledge on subjects related to finance and transactions, comprising skills essential for navigating through life.

Computer Applications

Its objective is to include developing an appreciation of different software and hardware systems available in the industry among the participants and build up the experience of computer usage in business organizations with specific reference to commercial data processing systems.

Personal Finance Management

Equips students with the skills to manage personal wealth, investments, and tax planning effectively.

Tourism & Travel Management

Its objective is to study the fundamental concept of tourism, understand the nature and types of tourism, Infer the root cause for motivation of travel, gain knowledge about various international travel and tourism organizations, and measure the impact of tourism on socio, economic and cultural.
